Dora completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta in 2003.  She articled at Heywood Holmes & Partners here in Red Deer, then moved to Calgary to work at Deloitte in the Financial Advisory group.  After getting married, she moved back to Red Deer to work for a public company for a few years, then became a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. She did some consulting with CPA Western School of Business to facilitate and guide students in the CPA program.  She joined ProVerus LLP in 2015 and has worked part-time until her children grew older.  She now works full-time in the office, though still likes to have time off in the summer to spend with her family.

Her clients tend to be small and medium-sized businesses. She provides accounting, tax and advisory services.  She also has been getting experience working on estates over the last few years.

Dora was a competitive figure skater growing up and tries to stay active by skating on the Red Deer ponds in the winter and taking dance lessons. She still enjoys performing Bharatnatyam, a style of East Indian classical dance, at events around Central Alberta.   Her husband and kids indulge her wish to travel, including suffering through a summer of living in a small motorhome to see the rest of Canada.
